Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, as reported by First Channel of Georgia.
The meeting focused on current events in the Middle East and the particular importance of peace and stability in the South Caucasus.
The Georgian Prime Minister confirmed Georgia’s readiness to facilitate dialogue that will restore trust and ensure lasting peace in the region.
The importance of the trilateral Georgia-Turkey-Azerbaijan format was also discussed, within which the next ministerial meeting will be held in Turkey.
