Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he would welcome US President Donald Trump's visit to Ukraine so that he could see with his own eyes the consequences of the Russian attack. Zelenskyy said this in an interview with CBS News, the latter reports.
"We respect your position," the Ukrainian leader said in English, in an invitation directed to Trump, "but, please, before any kind of decisions, any kind of plans for negotiations, come to see the people, civilians, warriors, hospitals, churches, children destroyed or dead." 
Zelenskyy added that the US should not remain neutral in this war, and Trump, as the head of a powerful country, should support Ukraine, the Ukrainian website Golovne v Ukrayiny reports.
