The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, on Tuesday held a phone conversation with the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, Jean-Noel Barrot.

During the conversation, the two ministers discussed topics on the agenda of Armenia-France bilateral partnership, informs the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.

Also, Mirzoyan presented the security situation in Armenia’s region and the continuous efforts aimed at establishing peace in the South Caucasus, emphasizing, among others, the importance of signing  the “Agreement on Peace and Establishment of Interstate Relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan.” The foreign minister of Armenia stated that Armenia highly appreciates France’s interest to that end, including as expressed by Minister Barrot.
