US Ambassador Kristina Kvien was honored to celebrate Charshama Sarsale, the Yezidi New Year, with Armenia’s Yezidi community. This was stated on the Facebook page of the US Embassy in Armenia.
“The music, traditional dances, and a visit to Quba Mêrê Dîwanê, the world's largest Yezidi temple, showcased the Yezidi’s rich cultural heritage and Armenia’s religious tolerance,” the embassy added.
