The UN General Assembly passed a resolution on cooperation between the UN and the Council of Europe at its last session.
The resolution accuses Russia of aggression against Ukraine.
A total of 105 countries—including Armenia, Georgia, and Slovakia—voted in favor of this document, Kommersant reports.
Nine countries, including the United States, voted against it.
Azerbaijan and Israel abstained from the vote.
The accusations against Russia touch also upon the conflict in Georgia.
The Russian foreign ministry assessed this resolution as an attempt to discredit Russia.
