Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian said Tehran is ready to reach a nuclear agreement with the US within certain frameworks that safeguard its national interests, adding that he is neither optimistic nor pessimistic about it.

“In negotiations with the US, we are ready to reach an agreement within a certain framework that safeguards our national interests. But if they are not willing to negotiate with us on an equal footing, we will continue to act as before. Relying on our own resources, we can develop the country,” he said, Mehr reported.
