Over the Easter weekend, the European Union civilian monitoring mission in Armenia (EUMA)  conducted 27 patrols during day and night throughout its Area of Operation. This included patrols to the villages of Khoznavar, Khnatsakh, and Aravus, EUMA informed on Facebook.

“In Khoznavar, EUMA observed the impact of two shots damaging civilian infrastructure, possibly originating from an Azerbaijani position in the area,” EUMA added.

The Armenian Ministry of Defense on Monday reported that on Sunday at approximately 2:30am, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces had opened fire in the direction of the village of Khoznavar in Armenia’s Syunik Province, inflicting damage on a solar water heater installed on the roof of a house.
