April 24 stands as a quiet testimony to the endurance of truth. Armen Sarkissian, the Fourth President of Armenia, noted this in his statement on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
“On this day, we remember not only what was lost-lives, homes, homeland- but also what endured: dignity and the will to be reborn.
The memory of innocent victims is not just a wound - it is a warning, a wisdom, and a vow,” added the former Armenian president.
