The Lithuanian ambassador to Armenia, Andrius Pulokas, on Thursday paid tribute to the victims of the Armenian Genocide at the Genocide Memorial in Yerevan.

“By honoring the victims, we remain committed to preventing such atrocities from ever happening again,” the Lithuanian embassy in Armenia said in a statement.

This year marks the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. Every year on April 24, hundreds of thousands of Armenians silently march to the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan, and lay flowers in memory of the approximately 1.5 million victims of this tragedy.
