Russia mourns together with the Armenian people. This is noted in a statement by the Russian embassy in Armenia—and on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

“We mourn together with the Armenian people on the occasion of the day of remembrance of the victims of the Armenian genocide in the Ottoman Empire,” the embassy noted in a message posted on social media.

And as reported earlier, Russian ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin, for his part, participated in Thursday’s ceremony of laying flowers at the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan.
