On April 19, 2005, the Polish parliament, the Sejm, recognized the Armenian Genocide, the embassy of Poland in Armenia wrote on Facebook.

“The Sejm of the Republic of Poland pays tribute to the memory of the victims of the genocide committed against the Armenian population in Turkey during the First World War.

Honoring the memory of the victims of this crime and condemning the crime is the moral duty of all humanity, states, and people of good will,” added the embassy of Poland in Armenia.
