Today, on this 110th anniversary, we honor the memory of the Armenian victims of 1915-23. The United Kingdom (UK) ambassador to Armenia, John Gallagher, on Thursday noted this on X—on the110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
“This tragedy is a reminder to all of the unjustifiable nature of inflicting such suffering on innocent people. We must never forget,” added the UK diplomat.
This year marks the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. Every year on April 24, hundreds of thousands of Armenians silently march to the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan, and lay flowers in memory of the approximately 1.5 million victims of this tragedy.
