Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has issued another April 24 message, reports the Istanbul-based Armenian Agos newspaper.

Erdogan's message was read at the Armenian Surp Vartanants Church in Istanbul, during a service dedicated to the commemoration of the victims of the Armenian Genocide.

Erdogan, as always, noted in his message that he extends his condolences the grandchildren of the Armenians of the Ottoman Empire who died during the difficult times of the First World War.

Since 2012, the Turkish president has been issuing messages with similar content on every April 24.

This year marks the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. Every year on April 24, hundreds of thousands of Armenians silently march to the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan, and lay flowers in memory of the approximately 1.5 million victims of this tragedy.
