Today we remember the Armenian Genocide, when 1.5 million men, women, and children were killed 110 years ago. Don Ceder, a member of the House of Representatives of the Netherlands, on Thursday wrote this on X—on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

“Today in the House [of Representatives] I wear the forget-me-not pin, a symbol of remembrance for the victims of the genocide,” added the Dutch lawmaker.

Also, he quoted an excerpt from a 1915 letter from Dutch envoy van der Does about the atrocities committed against Armenians in the Ottoman Empire.

“In the Armenian vilayets... not a single Armenian has remained,” Ceder quoted from this letter.
