The Hraparak daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes as follows, in particular: Yesterday, [Armenian PM Nikol] Pashinyan once again confirmed his loyalty to Turkey, calling the burning of the flag of Turkish “provocative, inciting, irresponsible and unacceptable.”

Meanwhile, burning a flag is a political action. Before the change of power [in Armenia in 2018], they themselves had burned the flag of Russia in front of the RF [(Russian Federation)] embassy in the RA and had not considered it provocative. In 2015, the [current] head of the NA [(National Assembly)] [ruling majority] CC [Civil Contract] faction Hayk Konjoryan, [FM] Ararat Mirzoyan, today's assistant to Nikol Pashinyan, Davit Gevorgyan, NA deputy speaker Hakob Arshakyan were participating in that action. Also, D․ Gevorgyan was wiping his feet on the [Russian] flag.

It is not clear why they now feel bad about the burning of the flag of Turkey. After all, isn't it that the Turkish-Azerbaijani tandem has not even abandoned [its] genocidal politics?
