The explosion that occurred at the Shahid Rajaee Port, in the city of Bandar Abbas in the southern province of Hormozgan in Iran occurred due to negligence, the Iranian interior minister said, reports Mehr News Agency.

"A commission has been set up to conduct an investigation, those responsible have been arrested, they explained some issues related to the explosion, the investigation is ongoing. I already explained yesterday how this tragedy happened. There was negligence, in particular, a violation of safety rules and carelessness," Eskandar Momeni said Monday.
