Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not arrive in Moscow on May 9 on the occasion of Victory Day anniversary. This was stated by the Russian presidential spokesperson, Dmitry Peskov, TASS reports.

“The Indian leader will not come, India will not be represented at the highest level,” Peskov told reporters.

Earlier, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov had recalled the plans of Russian President Vladimir Putin to visit India this year.

And the Russian ambassador to New Delhi, Denis Alipov, had informed that the planned visit at the invitation of Modi late this year was in preparatory and “substantial addition” mode.
