Azerbaijan continuously fired for about four hours last night from its combat positions located in the direction of Armenia’s Khnatsakh village. Tigran Abrahamyan, secretary of the opposition "With Honor" Faction of the National Assembly of Armenia, on Thursday wrote about this on Facebook.

"If in other sectors—Aravus, Khoznavar [villages] or Jermuk [city]—the shooting was on a traditional schedule—from 22:30 in the evening until 04:30, every 2 hours and short bursts of fire, there were bursts of fire from the Azerbaijani positions of Khnatsakh with a maximum of 5 minutes of pause.

Moreover, the bursts of fire were not from one, but from several Azerbaijani positions.

No matter how much the [Armenian] authorities claim that the bursts of fire are mainly irregular in nature, the proximity of Armenian settlements to the frontline creates a quite tense and dangerous situation for both our positions and the border villages," added the opposition MP.
