The seismological network of Armenia on Friday recorded an earthquake, with a magnitude of 2, in the country, at 9:12am local time, 12 kilometers south of Gavar town, and at a depth of 10 kilometers.

The tremor measured magnitude 2 to 3 at the epicenter.

The seismic activity was felt in Yeranos and Sarukhan villages of Gegharkunik Province.

To recall a 2.8-magnitude earthquake was recorded Thursday morning—and 13 kilometers southeast of Gavar.
