Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev has responded in unflattering terms to statements by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who rejected Russian President Vladimir Putin's proposal for a three-day truce.

"The green unshaven wacko said he rejects Putin's offer of a three-day truce for May 9 and cannot guarantee the safety of world leaders in Moscow.

And who's looking for his assurances? Just a verbal provocation. Nothing more than that.

The rotter realizes that in case of a real provocation on Victory Day, no one guarantees that Kyiv will have May 10," Medvedev wrote in his Telegram channel.
