On May 4, the Qatar Chamber hosted a delegation from Armenia, led by Lusine Gevorgyan, Chair of the Tourism Committee of Armenia, Armenian News-NEWS.am was informed by the Tourism Committee.

The delegation was welcomed by Sheikh Hamad bin Ahmed Al Thani, Qatar Chamber Board Member and Chairman of the Chamber’s Tourism Committee. Armenia’s Ambassador to Qatar, Tigran Gevorgyan, was also present.

During the meeting, the sides discussed strengthening tourism cooperation between Armenia and Qatar, investment opportunities, and ways to attract Qatari businesses to Armenia’s growing tourism sector.

Gevorgyan emphasized Armenia’s readiness to deepen ties, highlighted its tourism potential, and invited Qatari business owners to explore investment opportunities and participate in the Armenian Touristic Fair this November in Yerevan.
