The MPs of the opposition "With Honor" Faction of the National Assembly of Armenia have issued a statement in response to letters addressed to them.
The statement reads as follows:
“*We reaffirm that at this moment the most likely way to achieve a change of power [in Armenia] is the process of expressing no confidence in Prime Minister [Nikol Pashinyan].
*In order not to complicate the process with unnecessary political ambitions, we announce that we do not have a prime ministerial candidate at this moment
*We express our readiness to discuss the matter of a candidate and launch the process of expressing no confidence in the prime minister without any preconditions.”
To note, however, nominating a prime ministerial candidate is a mandatory condition for the process of expressing no confidence in the prime minister of Armenia.
