Airlines are reporting possible forced delays, cancellations, or merger of several flights due to restrictions in force at Russian airports.

According to the online flight board of Yerevan’s Zvartnots International Airport, seven flights from Moscow to Yerevan have been canceled, one from Saint Petersburg to Yerevan, and one flight each from Yekaterinburg and Perm. Also, three flights from Yerevan to Moscow were canceled, and one to Yekaterinburg.

In the early morning hours of Wednesday, flights were redirected to alternative airports or were delayed in a number of Russian cities—and due to restrictions on the arrival and departure of flights.

And on Wednesday morning, these temporary restrictions on flight arrivals and departures continued to be in force at a number of Russian airports.
