The annual conference of the European Association of Judges (EAJ) has kicked off in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. More than 70 delegates from 34 countries are attending in the event.

The conference will discuss the independence of the judiciary in Europe and the region, regional challenges to justice, and international cooperation.

Also, the chairman of the Association of Judges of Armenia, the presidents of the International Association of Judges (IAJ) and the European Association of Judges (EAJ), as well as several other officials will deliver opening remarks at the event.
