The "Immortal Regiment" NGO’s march, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War, ended in Victory Park in Yerevan.

The marchers—comprising war veterans, youth, politicians, and diplomats—walked along Liberty Avenue, carrying portraits of heroic ancestors, the national flags of Armenia, Russia, and Nagorno-Karabakh, the flags of the Armenian military divisions at the Great Patriotic War, and ribbons.

Flowers were laid at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and the march concluded with the release of dozens of balloons—in the colors of the Armenian and Russian national flags—into the sky.
