The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade  expects industrial park to be launched in Azerbaijan in 2025. This was stated by Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Roman Chekushov in an interview with TASS on the sidelines of the Innoprom: Central Asia international exhibition in Tashkent.

“This year we hope to open an industrial park in Azerbaijan, in the city of Sumgait. This is the first attempt at a joint project with our Azerbaijani partners. We are confident that it will be in demand also by Russian enterprises,” said the Russian deputy minister of industry and trade.
