Armenian Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan met with the newly appointed president of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Masato Kanda, on the sidelines of the 58th Annual Meeting of the ADB Board of Governors in Milan, Italy, Armenian News-NEWS.am was informed by the Ministry of Finance of Armenia.

During the meeting, the parties discussed investment opportunities in Armenia and the region, as well as the reforms aimed at promoting economic growth.

Minister Hovhannisyan emphasized the importance of Armenia’s cooperation with ADB in the context of ensuring sustainable development of the country’s economy.

ADB President Masato Kanda, for his part, lauded the Armenian government efforts aimed at improving financial management and the investment environment, and reaffirmed the ADB’s readiness to continue supporting Armenia’s development priorities.
