Two earthquakes measuring magnitude 4.2 and 4.4 on the Richter scale struck the Turkish province of Amasya on Monday, informed the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) of the Turkey.
These tremors were recorded at 12:23pm and 12:26pm local time, and their epicenter was in Gumushacikoy town.
The epicenter of the earthquakes was located at a depth of more than 10 kilometers.
There are no reports of casualties, injuries, or damage.
