Turkish national defense minister Yasar Guler has pledged full assistance to the Azerbaijani armed forces. He stated this during a meeting with Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev.

“We [i.e. Turkey] will continue to do everything possible to expand ties with the armed forces of fraternal Azerbaijan,” the Turkish defense minister said, according to media reports.

During the talk, reference was made to “the effective cooperation that has been established between the Azerbaijani armed forces and Turkey. In particular, the successful holding of joint military exercises was stressed.”
