In 2025, the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra is being celebrated with great pomp.

The Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra is the first and main orchestra of Armenia, and it has been performing for more than two decades now under the leadership of its artistic director and principal conductor, Eduard Topchjan.

In order to properly mark the 100th anniversary of the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra, an anniversary commission has been formed by the decision of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and it headed by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Zhanna Andreasyan.

A concert dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra will be held Wednesday at Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall in Yerevan, and this event will open the series of respective anniversary concerts.

The special guest of the aforesaid concert will be the phenomenal pianist Yuja Wang. She will perform under the direction of Eduard Topchjan.

Concerts together with many other famous musicians and conductors, as well as concert tours in the provinces of Armenia and abroad, are planned throughout the year.
