The Azerbaijani Vesti.az published an article in which it is noted that Stepan Avanesyan, the husband of the RA minister of health [Anahit Avanesyan], is spreading the discrediting materials… The Hraparak daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes as follows, in particular: Recently, a scandalous report in the London Times periodical was spread, according to which Western pharmaceutical companies are testing dangerous substances on Armenian women, children, and the disabled. No one had heard of the periodical, but they began to vigorously deny it—first the [Armenian] minister of health, then the prime minister’s spokesperson.

According to Armenian pharmacists, this is a fake report, whose “legs are growing from Armenia.”

And yesterday, the Azerbaijani Vesti.az published an article in which it is noted that Stepan Avanesyan, the husband of the RA minister of health [Anahit Avanesyan], is spreading the discrediting materials. “Until recently, his Armpharmacy enterprise was successfully implementing [Armenian] state funding. In 2021 alone, it signed 240 agreements with 44 state institutions for 606.7 million drams. But in recent years, [Stepan] Avanesyan’s business has started to suffer losses. According to sources, the reason is that the leadership of Armenia has begun to actively promote the interests of Western pharmaceutical companies,” it is written in the article.

By the way, the [aforesaid] Azerbaijani website makes reference to its sources in the RA NSS [i.e. the National Security Service].
