Azerbaijani deputy foreign minister Yalchin Rafiyev has advised India to “carefully approach” Azerbaijan-Armenia relations, Azerbaijani media report.

“In the India-Pakistan issue, Azerbaijan's position is also based on international law. Especially in Azerbaijan-Armenia relations, which are going through a fragile period, India and other third parties should carefully approach the issue. Here, we [i.e. Azerbaijan] expect from all states, including India, that no concrete steps be taken that could harm this process,” the deputy FM  said during a discussion, themed "The Rise of the Global South and the West: Azerbaijan's Role, Cooperation, and New Opportunities for Development," in the Azerbaijani parliament.
