Consultations between the Palestinian Hamas movement and US representatives in the capital of Qatar have reached a new level, with the possibility of reaching agreements on a temporary ceasefire between radical groups in Gaza and Israeli forces, reported the Palestinian Ma’an News agency, which is close to Hamas.

According to its sources, the aforesaid talks in Doha have entered a new phase. Ma’an noted that at the current phase there are growing signs between the conflicting parties that an agreement on a short-term ceasefire may be reached.

The representatives of Hamas and the US administration held talks in Doha last evening—and with the participation of Qatari mediators. According to the radicals, the American delegation allegedly changed its position on some matters.
