European Union (EU) office in Armenia has welcomed 20 representatives of youth civil society organizations and public institutions from Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine for a Study Visit to Armenia, informed the office. 

Organized by the Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in cooperation with the Armenian Progressive Youth NGO, this initiative is implemented within the framework of the EU4Youth - Youth Engagement and Empowerment / Strengthening Civil Society in the Eastern Partnership Project, co-funded by the European Union and the German Government.

The Study Visit provided an excellent opportunity for participants to exchange knowledge and best practices, strengthen regional cooperation in youth policy-making, and learn from successful youth engagement initiatives.

“We remain committed to empowering young people and supporting participatory governance across the [EU] Eastern Partnership,” added the EU office in Armenia.
