US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has said that the date and location of the scheduled meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin to resolve the Ukraine crisis have not yet been decided. “Given everything we know, after months of working on this, nothing is going to happen until President Trump sits across the [negotiating] table from Vladimir Putin,” Rubio said in an interview with Fox News on Thursday.

“So I don’t know what the date or the place of that is yet, but that’s really the only chance at this point,” he added. Earlier, Trump had said that progress in resolving the Ukraine conflict depended on whether he could meet with Putin. The US president had added that their meeting should take place as soon as possible.
