Discussions between Yerevan and Baku continue. This was stated by the speaker of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, speaking with reporters at the NA on Monday.

According to him, there is an agreement between the two parties to ensure the continuation of this process.

“I do not rule that the discussions may continue in the near future—in the format of the leaders, as well as the foreign ministers, of the two countries,” Simonyan said.

According to the NA speaker, this is good news, but there is no specific agreement yet.

“Such processes are aimed at the place and timeframe of signing the peace treaty. The Armenian side and numerous international partners are carrying out respective work so that the signing of the peace treaty finally becomes a reality,” stressed the speaker of the Armenian parliament.
