Mastercard announced the launch of  Biometric Payments in Armenia. Together with AMIO Bank, and FacePass Solutions as the technological partner, Mastercard will bring innovative in-store payment solution to the Time store chain. This initiation allows consumers to pay effortlessly using just a      face, enhancing both convenience and security for consumers and businesses across the country.

Consumers in Armenia can securely register their biometric data  on the FacePass-AMIO platform and link any Mastercard card as a payment method, allowing consumers to pay using just their facial scan. The Biometric Payments provide quicker payment process and reduce time spent in lines at checkout enhanced by opportunity to integrate payments with loyalty programs. And as a result the solution leads identification and payment process to a seamless and personalized consumer experience.
