Russia sees significant potential in the development of regional cooperation within the “3+3” platform, which represents the three countries of the South Caucasus (Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia) and their immediate neighbors (Russia, Iran, and Turkey), Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated in Yerevan, the Armenian capital, on Wednesday.
He recalled that two ministerial-level meetings had already been held in Tehran and Istanbul within the framework of the “3+3” platform.
Lavrov added that preparations for the third meeting were currently underway.
