Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received delegation led by the Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics of Iran, Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, who is in Armenia for an official visit, the PM’s office informs.

The premier emphasized that Armenia-Iran relations are developing at a high pace, which is based on natural mutual interests. Pashinyan emphasized the political will of the authorities of the two countries in expanding and deepening of cooperation. Also, the Armenian PM stressed the importance of fully realizing existing opportunities and taking consistent steps in this regard.

In turn, Brigadier General Nasirzadeh conveyed to Pashinyan the warm greetings of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, and noted that Iran is interested in developing multilateral cooperation with Armenia. Also, the defense minister once again emphasized Iran's unconditional support for Armenia's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Subsequently, the interlocutors discussed the agenda of Armenia-Iran cooperation and the ensuring of regional security and stability.
