Russia sincerely wishes Armenia and Azerbaijan success in signing a peace treaty, and it is ready to continue to provide assistance to the two parties in developing and signing such a document, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said, TASS reports.

“It is necessary to sign a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan, we [i.e. Russia] sincerely wish them success in this matter,” Lavrov noted. “It is clear that the treaty became possible thanks to several trilateral summits of Russia-Azerbaijan-Armenia. We are ready to continue to provide assistance if both parties are interested in it.”
