This is the second year that the Yerevan Dialogue diplomacy forum is being held, and this year the number of its international participants has doubled, and there are about 300 participants from about 40 countries. Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan said this during a briefing with reporters Monday.

"You have also seen that the number of high-ranking participants has increased, you have already had the opportunity to listen to the speech of the prime minister of Slovakia. During these days, the deputy prime minister of Montenegro will also participate in the Yerevan Dialogue. The French foreign minister, I believe, will arrive in Yerevan in an hour or two and will participate in the Yerevan Dialogue event. The Hungarian [foreign] minister will also arrive in Yerevan. The Palestinian minister of state is also in Yerevan. We have a number of other colleagues at the level of deputy ministers and other high-ranking guests.

In essence, the event is successful because we [i.e. Armenia] were able to create a platform both for discussions and for our other high-ranking colleagues to meet with each other. I believe that in the next one or two days you will see quite interesting and important meetings—which will take place in Yerevan during these days—not only for Armenia and our region, but also for the general global policy,” added the Armenian deputy FM.
