Our strategic decision is to remain committed to the peace agenda. And I hope that during today's report, I was able to present to our international partners and make more visible how close peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan is. This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a joint press conference with visiting Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico Monday in Armenian capital Yerevan.

"Of course, we [i.e. Armenia] will fully and completely fulfill our responsibility in this regard. And I am happy to state that we are also continuing our consultations with Azerbaijan so that this historic opportunity is not missed. Let me express my conviction that it will not be missed because, of course, not without difficulties, but we are moving forward. And the fact that we were able to complete, successfully close the negotiations on the draft peace agreement in this environment and in difficult international and regional conditions, to have an agreed text that is ready for signing is, of course, a very important and very great achievement—but it is a step that needs to have a continuation.

I would like to thank Slovakia, the Slovak government, and Prime Minister Fico personally for the support they have shown in this matter because Slovakia was one of the first countries to welcome the completion of, the agreement on the negotiations on the draft peace agreement,. Slovakia is one of the countries that is waiting for the signing of the agreement," the Armenian premier emphasized.
