The next domain where Slovakia would like to cooperate with Armenia is the exchange of experience. If Armenia is interested, Slovakia would be happy to present its experience in relation to the European Union. This was announced by visiting Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico during a joint press conference with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan Monday in Yerevan.
To show where we made mistakes, or where we succeeded, but especially, I am glad that we will be able to present you with the best experience, the best practice. In Slovakia, we have found some solutions, for example, in the field of public procurement or in the text of the law on strategic investments. I am convinced that you will also have interesting things from which we can learn lessons. We can both learn from each other. I am very happy that we have reached an agreement on mutual assistance, on mutually assisting each other in the matter of candidacies for a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council and supporting various missions, said the Slovak premier.
Both Armenia and Slovakia have an important role, so I consider this visit to be successful, as we clearly outlined the directions of our cooperation, taking into account the composition of our business delegations, and we focused on several domains, he added.
Also, Fico expressed gratitude for the hospitable treatment, and added that he would look forward to Nikol Pashinyan’s visit to Slovakia.
