Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the delegation headed by the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic, Jean-Noel Barrot. 

The Prime Minister welcomed the visit of the French Foreign Minister to Armenia and noted that the relations between the two countries are at a high level. According to Nikol Pashinyan, it is also important that the bilateral cooperation in different spheres is deepening and strengthening. According to the President, this was also recorded during his recent meeting with the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, in Tirana.

Jean-Noel Barrot emphasized France's unwavering support to the development and capacity building of Armenia. The French Foreign Minister noted that his country is ready for further deepening and expansion of relations with Armenia, including in political and economic spheres. At the same time, Jean-Noel Barrot congratulated Prime Minister Pashinyan on the occasion of holding the European Political Community summit in Armenia next year.

The interlocutors discussed issues related to the development of infrastructure, attraction of investments and realization of new joint projects.

The sides exchanged views on regional processes, including the recent developments within the framework of the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Prime Minister Pashinyan once again emphasized the Armenian government's commitment to the peace agenda.
