The process of normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia is going through a very important point, said Azerbaijani deputy foreign minister Yalchin Rafiev, in response to a question from APA, the latter reports.

“As you know, the process of agreeing on the text of the peace agreement has been completed. There are two conditions for its signing, namely, concrete steps must be taken in this direction to create a basis for peace. Any peace messages only yield results when these steps are practically implemented and when specific demands and the expectations of both sides are met,” Rafiev said.

To recall, the additional conditions boil down to the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Group and amendments to the Armenian constitution. Azerbaijan, however, does not intend to amend its own constitution.
