Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan received the secretary general of the European External Action Service (EEAS) of the European Union (EU), Belen Martinez Carbonell, on the margins of the Yerevan Dialogue 2025 international forum in the Armenian capital.
The interlocutors discussed the new agenda of the Armenia-EU Partnership, emphasizing that this document will be a new significant milestone in the deepening of Armenia's comprehensive cooperation with the EU, the Armenian foreign ministry informs.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Belen Martinez Carbonell talked about specific mechanisms, the best realization of which corresponds to the political will expressed by Armenia and the EU at the highest level to deepen their bilateral partnership.
Reflecting on the current geopolitical trends, FM Mirzoyan stressed the importance of strengthening partnerships based on like-minded and democratic principles and making timely and appropriate decisions.
The meeting touched also upon regional developments.
