Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Azerbaijan on Wednesday, Fahrettin Altun, Head of the Communications Department of the Turkish Presidential Administration said, APA reports.

He noted that the visit will take place within the framework of May 28 Independence Day anniversary of Azerbaijan.

"On this occasion, it is planned to exchange views on relations between the two countries, as well as current regional and global events during talks with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev," Altun added.

In addition, the 2nd Meeting of the Turkey-Azerbaijan-Pakistan Trilateral Summit will be held, with the participation of Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

Also, Erdogan will attend the opening ceremony of Lachin International Airport during his visit.
