Armenian opera singer and actress Elvira Uzunyan died Wednesday in Boston, USA.

She was 91 years old.

Uzunyan was born in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi, she worked in Armenia for many years, then moved to Boston, where she performed in numerous concerts.

Also she collaborated with the Armenian community in the United States.

In Boston, Uzunyan created and directed the Let’s Help Young Talents organization.
