We have made progress in the peacebuilding process. Of course, not all issues have been resolved, we cannot say that the entire peace agenda has been fully implemented, but there are results in this regard. This was stated by the secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, at a press briefing on Thursday.
"Regarding border incidents, we continue proposing to Azerbaijan to create joint mechanisms for their investigation," noted the secretary of the Security Council of Armenia.
Grigoryan recalled that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had stated that there will be no war, there will be peace in the region, and Armenia continues to work in this direction.
As for the US statements, the Americans, according to him, have their own assessment of the situation, and Armenia has its own.
"These assessments may not coincide, an incident has occurred, and we will continue to work with Azerbaijan on this issue," stressed the secretary of the Security Council of Armenia.
As reported earlier, the Armenian Ministry of Defense announced that the Azerbaijani military had fired shots towards Khoznavar village of Armenia’s Syunik Province and damaged a house as a result.
