Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, on Thursday received US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, Joshua Huck, the Office of the Security Council of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The Security Council secretary highlighted the multifaceted development of Armenia-US bilateral relations. The US Deputy Assistant Secretary, in turn, emphasized the readiness of the American side to support the further development of bilateral relations. In this context, the parties exchanged views on the Armenia-US bilateral agenda, within the framework of which Grigoryan underscored the continuity of joint efforts aimed at the developing of strategic partnership.

The meeting touched also upon the regional security situation. In this connection, the secretary of the Security Council of Armenia presented the latest developments in the process of normalizing of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, and stressed the importance of signing a peace treaty between the two countries.
